Personalised reflexology in Albany

Feeling overwhelmed, fatigued or just not quite yourself? Sometimes our bodies ask for a pause before our minds even realise we need one.

How does reflexology work?

I believe in the power of reflexology as a way of helping to reconnect with our bodies, find balance and feel more at ease. Drawing on ancient traditions from Egypt and China, reflexology works through the feet to influence the whole body – offering a calming, restorative way of supporting your overall wellbeing.
Using advanced foot massage techniques, pressure is applied to specific points on the feet, each of which are linked to different organs, systems and structures. By activating these points, reflexology helps support the body’s natural ability to rebalance and restore itself.

Whether you're navigating chronic pain, battling stress or simply craving a moment of calm, each reflexology session is fully personalised — designed to support both where you’re at now and where you’d like to be.

How can reflexology help?

Reflexology can be especially helpful in easing foot pain, tension and numbness. But you may notice changes in your overall wellbeing. In fact, this highly regarded modality supports the whole body, helping to calm the nervous system, ease tension and encouraging a return to natural balance.

Here are some of the many ways reflexology can help:

Nervous system support

By applying pressure to specific points on the feet, we stimulate nerve endings that connect to organs and systems throughout the body. This can help calm the nervous system, encouraging a shift out of stress mode and into a more relaxed, restorative state.

Releasing tension

Reflexology also works with fascia — the web of connective tissue that surrounds every part of your body — helping to release areas of restriction and support better alignment, posture and overall movement.

Boosting circulation and the immune system

By boosting circulation and encouraging healthy lymphatic flow, reflexology supports the body’s natural detoxification processes and helps strengthen the immune system.

Balancing energy and merdians

Reflexology also works on an energetic level, promoting balance and flow through the Chinese meridians. The result is often a deep sense of relaxation, enhanced vitality and a feeling of being more connected and at ease in your own body.

"The feet are the physical foundation of the body. If their structure is not in balance it will throw the entire body out of alignment."
